A Cappella Choir to perform with Dallas Symphony Orchestra

UTA's A Cappella Choir joins the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Grammy Award-winner Arnie Roth for an unforgettable evening as the music of FINAL FANTASY returns to the Meyerson. Featuring Susan Calloway and UTA's A Cappella Choir under the direction of Karen Kenaston-French and the thrilling music of renowned composer Nobuo Uematsu.
Making the night even more special, three UTA vocal arts students, Richard Del Cristo Js., Nicholas Kannenberg and Kimber Carter, will perform as soloists on the program, singing the "Maria and Draco Opera" from Final Fantasy VI.

Launched in conjunction with the twentieth anniversary of FINAL FANTASY, the Distant Worlds concerts are performed by symphony orchestra, choir, and renowned vocal and instrumental soloists, under the direction of acclaimed conductor Arnie Roth. With HD video direct from the FINAL FANTASY game developers SQUARE ENIX projected onto giant screens throughout the concerts, a rapidly growing repertoire of classic FINAL FANTASY music, and an extraordinary fan base, Distant Worlds is a truly unique multimedia concert experience.
